הברכות שאחרי קריאת שמע וֶאֱמוּנָה כָּל זאת וְקַיָּם עָלֵינוּ. כִּי הוּא ה' אֱלהֵינוּ וְאֵין זוּלָתו. וַאֲנַחְנוּ יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמּו. הַפּודֵנוּ מִיַּד מְלָכִים. הַגּאֲלֵנוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ מִכַּף כָּל עָרִיצִים. הָאֵל הַנִּפְרָע לָנוּ מִצָּרֵינוּ. הַמְשַׁלֵּם גְּמוּל לְכָל אויְבֵי נַפְשֵׁנוּ: הַשָּׂם נַפְשֵׁנוּ בַּחַיִּים וְלא נָתַן לַמּוט רַגְלֵנוּ. הַמַּדְרִיכֵנוּ עַל בָּמות אויְבֵינוּ. וַיָּרֶם קַרְנֵנוּ עַל כָּל שׂונְאֵינוּ. הָאֵל הָעושֶׂה לָנוּ נִסִּים נְקָמָה בְּפַרְעה. בְּאותות וּבְמופְתִים בְּאַדְמַת בְּנֵי חָם. הַמַּכֶּה בְעֶבְרָתו כָּל בְּכורֵי מִצְרָיִם. וַיּוצִיא אֶת עַמּו יִשְׂרָאֵל מִתּוכָם לְחֵרוּת עולָם. הַמַּעֲבִיר בָּנָיו בֵּין גִּזְרֵי יַם סוּף. וְאֶת רודְפֵיהֶם וְאֶת שׂונְאֵיהֶם בִּתְהומות טִבַּע. רָאוּ בָנִים אֶת גְּבוּרָתו שִׁבְּחוּ וְהודוּ לִשְׁמו. וּמַלְכוּתו בְרָצון קִבְּלוּ עֲלֵיהֶם. משֶׁה וּבְנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל לְךָ עָנוּ שִׁירָה בְּשִׂמְחָה רַבָּה וְאָמְרוּ כֻלָּם. מִי כָמכָה בָּאֵלִים ה' מִי כָּמכָה נֶאְדָּר בַּקּדֶשׁ. נורָא תְהִלּת עשֵׂה פֶלֶא: מַלְכוּתְךָ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ רָאוּ בָנֶיךָ עַל הַיָּם יַחַד כֻּלָּם הודוּ וְהִמְלִיכוּ וְאָמְרוּ ה' יִמְלךְ לְעולָם וָעֶד: וְנֶאֱמַר כִּי פָדָה ה' אֶת יַעֲקב. וּגְאָלו מִיַּד חָזָק מִמֶּנּוּ: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', גָּאַל יִשְׂרָאֵל:

The blessings after the recitation of Shema and [we have] Faith in all this – and it is established for us, for He is the L·rd Our G-d & there is none other than Him – and we are Yisrael, His people. [He is] The One Who redeems us from the hand of kings, Our King, Who Delivers us from from the hands of all tyrants, the G-d that avenges for us those that cause us pain, the One that will pay back all that was bestowed upon us to all the enemies of our souls, the One Who keeps our souls alive, and did not allow our feet to stumble, the One Who guides us upon the altars of our enemies. And who raises our countenance [horn] upon all our foes, the G-d that takes vengeance upon Pharaoh, with signs and wonders – in the land of the people of H'am, the One that Strikes with His wrath all the first-born of Egypt, & He Brings out His people, Yisrael from among them to eternal freedom. Who causes His children to pass between the splittings of the Sea of Reeds, & their pursuers & their foes He drowned in the depths. His children observed His might – & gave praise & lauded Him for His Name's sake – & His Kingship, they willingly, accepted upon themselves. Moshe / Moses & the Children of Yisrael answered with Song & great joy, & they all said “Who is like You among the mighty, L·rd. Who is like You supreme in holiness, [too] awesome [for] praises - Who does wonders. Your Kingship, L·rd, our G-d Your Children saw by the Sea, united all of them gave thanks and accepted Your Kingship and said “The L·rd will reign, forever more.” And it is said “For the L·rd redeemed Yaakov & he saved him from the hand of one stronger than he.” Blessed are You L·rd, who redeems Yisrael.

תפילת עמידה מוכר גם בשם "תפילת שמונה עשרה" בזכות 18 הברכות המופיעות בו את תפילת העמידה אומרים כולה בעמידה כאשר הרגליים צמודות זו לזו צועדים אחורה 3 צעדים כאשר מתחילים קודם ברגל שמאל, ואז ברגל ימין ואז מחברים בין הרגליים. עכשיו חוזרים קדימה ב3 צעדים כאשר מתחילים קודם ברגל ימין, ואז ברגל שמאל ואז מחברים בין הרגליים. אומרים: אֲדנָי, שְׂפָתַי תִּפְתָּח. וּפִי יַגִּיד תְּהִלָּתֶךָ:

Main prayer "18" Known as "Shmoneh Esreh" (18 in Hebrew, due to 18 blessings in this prayer) This prayer is said while standing and keeping our legs connected. My L·rd, open my lips , & my mouth will speak Your praises.

עלינו לשבח עָלֵינוּ לְשַׁבֵּחַ לַאֲדון הַכּל. לָתֵת גְּדֻלָּה לְיוצֵר בְּרֵאשִׁית. שֶׁלּא עָשָׂנוּ כְּגויֵי הָאֲרָצות וְלא שָׂמָנוּ כְּמִשְׁפְּחות הָאֲדָמָה. שֶׁלּא שָׂם חֶלְקֵנוּ כָּהֶם וְגורָלֵנוּ כְּכָל הֲמונָם. שֶׁהֵם מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים לָהֶבֶל וָרִיק וּמִתְפַּלְּלִים אֶל אֵל לא יושִׁיעַ. (יפסיק מעט. וכשיאמר "ואנחנו משתחוים לפני מלך מלכי המלכים" יכרע כל גופו). וַאֲנַחְנוּ מִשְׁתַּחֲוִים לִפְנֵי מֶלֶךְ מַלְכֵי הַמְּלָכִים הַקָּדושׁ בָּרוּךְ הוּא. שֶׁהוּא נוטֶה שָׁמַיִם וְיוסֵד אָרֶץ. וּמושַׁב יְקָרו בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל. וּשְׁכִינַת עֻזּו בְּגָבְהֵי מְרומִים. הוּא אֱלהֵינוּ וְאֵין עוד אַחֵר. אֱמֶת מַלְכֵּנוּ וְאֶפֶס זוּלָתו. כַּכָּתוּב בַּתּורָה. וְיָדַעְתָּ הַיּום וַהֲשֵׁבותָ אֶל לְבָבֶךָ כִּי ה' הוּא הָאֱלהִים בַּשָּׁמַיִם מִמַּעַל וְעַל הָאָרֶץ מִתָּחַת. אֵין עוד:

A'leinu LeShabeah'/Upon us to Praise It is [incumbent] upon us to praise the L·rd of all. To bestow Greatness to the Molder of creation, for He did not make us as the nations of the lands, & he did not establish us like the families of the earth, for He did not assign our portion as theirs, & our lot like all the multitudes - for they bow to vanity & emptiness & pray to a god that saves not. And we bow before the King, the King of all Kings, the Holy One, Blessed be He, Who spreads out the heavens & creates the foundation of the earth. And the seat of His precious abode is in Heaven above & the divine presence of his power, is in the highest heights. He is our G·d, & there is no other. Our G·d is true, & no other is beside Him. Like it is written in the Torah - "And you shall know today, & you shall take it to heart, that it is the L·rd (Hash·m), Who is G·d in the heavens above & upon the earth below. There is no other.”

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' אֱלהֵינוּ מֶלֶךְ הָעולָם, אֲשֶׁר בִּדְבָרו מַעֲרִיב עֲרָבִים בְּחָכְמָה. פּותֵחַ שְׁעָרִים בִּתְבוּנָה. מְשַׁנֶּה עִתִּים וּמַחֲלִיף אֶת הַזְּמַנִּים וּמְסַדֵּר אֶת הַכּוכָבִים. בְּמִשְׁמְרותֵיהֶם בָּרָקִיעַ כִּרְצונו. בּורֵא יומָם וָלָיְלָה. גּולֵל אור מִפְּנֵי חשֶׁךְ וְחשֶׁךְ מִפְּנֵי אור. הַמַּעֲבִיר יום וּמֵבִיא לָיְלָה. וּמַבְדִּיל בֵּין יום וּבֵין לָיְלָה. ה' צְבָאות שְׁמו. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', הַמַּעֲרִיב עֲרָבִים:

The blessings before the recitation of Shema Blessed are You, L·rd, Our G-d, King of the Universe – that with His word – he brings forth nights – with wisdom. He opens the gates with understanding. He changes the time periods and exchanges the time schedules and sets in order the stars – in their watches in the heavens according to His will – he creates day and night. He removes light for darkness and [removes] darkness for light. He clears away day and brings night and makes a separation between day and between night. L·rd, L·rd of Hosts is His Name. Blessed are You, L·rd – that brings upon nights.

אַהֲבַת עולָם בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמְּךָ אָהָבְתָּ. תּורָה וּמִצְות חֻקִּים וּמִשְׁפָּטִים אותָנוּ לִמַּדְתָּ. עַל כֵּן ה' אֱלהֵינוּ בְּשָׁכְבֵנוּ וּבְקוּמֵנוּ נָשִׂיחַ בְּחֻקֶּיךָ וְנִשְׂמַח וְנַעֲלוז בְּדִבְרֵי תַלְמוּד תּורָתֶךָ וּמִצְותֶיךָ וְחֻקּותֶיךָ לְעולָם וָעֶד. כִּי הֵם חַיֵּינוּ וְאורֶךְ יָמֵינוּ. וּבָהֶם נֶהְגֶּה יומָם וָלָיְלָה. וְאַהֲבָתְךָ לא תָסוּר מִמֶּנּוּ לְעולָמִים. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', אוהֵב אֶת עַמּו יִשְׂרָאֵל:

With Eternal Love of the House of Israel – Your people – you loved – Torah & Mitzvot & decrees and ordinances – You taught us. Therefore, L·rd our G-d, upon our lying down and upon our rising – we will converse in your laws and rejoice and exult in the words of Your Torah's Teachings, and commandments and decrees forever more. For they are our lives and the length of our days, and with them we will delve day and night. And your love – do not remove from us forever – Blessed are You, L·rd, who loves his people – Yisrael.

שְׁמַע יִשְׂרָאֵל, ה' אֱלהֵינוּ, ה' אֶחָד: ואומר בלחש - בָּרוּךְ, שֵׁם כְּבוד מַלְכוּתו, לְעולָם וָעֶד:

Recitation of Shema and Its Blessings HEAR, O ISRAEL, Ado·nai Is Our G·D, Ado·nai Is ONE (Silently) Blessed be His Name & glorious sovereignty forever.

וְאָהַבְתָּ אֵת ה' אֱלהֶיךָ. בְּכָל לְבָבְךָ וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁךָ וּבְכָל מְאדֶךָ: וְהָיוּ הַדְּבָרִים הָאֵלֶּה אֲשֶׁר אָנכִי מְצַוְּךָ הַיּום עַל לְבָבֶךָ: וְשִׁנַּנְתָּם לְבָנֶיךָ וְדִבַּרְתָּ בָּם. בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ בְּבֵיתֶךָ וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּרֶךְ וּבְשָׁכְבְּךָ וּבְקוּמֶךָ: וּקְשַׁרְתָּם לְאות עַל יָדֶךָ. וְהָיוּ לְטטָפת בֵּין עֵינֶיךָ: וּכְתַבְתָּם עַל מְזֻזות בֵּיתֶךָ וּבִשְׁעָרֶיךָ:

And you shall love the L·rd, your G·d, with all your heart & with all your soul & with all your might. And these words which I command you this day shall be upon your heart. And you shall teach them diligently unto your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house & when you walk by the way, when your lie down & when you rise up. And you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, & they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house & upon your gates.

וְהָיָה אִם שָׁמעַ תִּשְׁמְעוּ אֶל מִצְותַי אֲשֶׁר אָנכִי מְצַוֶּה אֶתְכֶם הַיּום. לְאַהֲבָה אֶת ה' אֱלהֵיכֶם וּלְעָבְדו בְּכָל לְבַבְכֶם וּבְכָל נַפְשְׁכֶם: וְנָתַתִּי מְטַר אַרְצְכֶם בְּעִתּו יורֶה וּמַלְקושׁ. וְאָסַפְתָּ דְגָנֶךָ וְתִירשְׁךָ וְיִצְהָרֶךָ: וְנָתַתִּי עֵשֶׂב בְּשָׂדְךָ לִבְהֶמְתֶּךָ. וְאָכַלְתָּ וְשָׂבָעְתָּ: הִשָּׁמְרוּ לָכֶם פֶּן יִפְתֶּה לְבַבְכֶם. וְסַרְתֶּם וַעֲבַדְתֶּם אֱלהִים אֲחֵרִים וְהִשְׁתַּחֲוִיתֶם לָהֶם: וְחָרָה אַף ה' בָּכֶם וְעָצַר אֶת הַשָּׁמַיִם וְלא יִהְיֶה מָטָר וְהָאֲדָמָה לא תִתֵּן אֶת יְבוּלָהּ. וַאֲבַדְתֶּם מְהֵרָה מֵעַל הָאָרֶץ הַטּבָה אֲשֶׁר ה' נתֵן לָכֶם: וְשַׂמְתֶּם אֶת דְּבָרַי אֵלֶּה עַל לְבַבְכֶם וְעַל נַפְשְׁכֶם. וּקְשַׁרְתֶּם אתָם לְאות עַל יֶדְכֶם וְהָיוּ לְטוטָפת בֵּין עֵינֵיכֶם: וְלִמַּדְתֶּם אתָם אֶת בְּנֵיכֶם לְדַבֵּר בָּם. בְּשִׁבְתְּךָ בְּבֵיתֶךָ וּבְלֶכְתְּךָ בַדֶּרֶךְ וּבְשָׁכְבְּךָ וּבְקוּמֶךָ: וּכְתַבְתָּם עַל מְזוּזות בֵּיתֶךָ וּבִשְׁעָרֶיךָ: לְמַעַן יִרְבּוּ יְמֵיכֶם וִימֵי בְנֵיכֶם עַל הָאֲדָמָה אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּע ה' לַאֲבתֵיכֶם לָתֵת לָהֶם. כִּימֵי הַשָּׁמַיִם עַל הָאָרֶץ:

And it shall be that if you hearken diligently unto My commandments which I command you today, to love the L·rd your G·d & to serve Him with all your heart & all your soul, then I will send rain for your land in its proper time, the autumn rain & the spring rain, that you may gather in your grain, your wine & your oil. And I will give grass in your field for your cattle & you shall eat & be satisfied. Take heed to yourselves lest your heart be deceived, & you turn aside & serve other gods & bow to them. For then the L·rd's wrath will be kindled against you, & He will close up the heavens that there be no rain, & land shall not yield her produce, & you shall perish quickly from off the goodly land which the L·rd gives you. You shall lay My words, these upon your heart & upon your soul, & you shall bind them for a sign upon your hand, & they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. And you shall teach them to your children, speaking of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down & when you rise. And you shall write them upon the doorposts of your house & upon your gates. So that the L·rd will lengthen your days & the days of your children upon the land which the L·rd promised to give to your fathers, as the days of the heavens above the earth

וַיּאמֶר ה' אֶל משֶׁה לֵּאמר: דַּבֵּר אֶל בְּנֵי יִשְׂרָאֵל וְאָמַרְתָּ אֲלֵהֶם וְעָשׂוּ לָהֶם צִיצִת עַל כַּנְפֵי בִגְדֵיהֶם לְדרתָם. וְנָתְנוּ עַל צִיצִת הַכָּנָף פְּתִיל תְּכֵלֶת: וְהָיָה לָכֶם לְצִיצִת וּרְאִיתֶם אתו וּזְכַרְתֶּם אֶת כָּל מִצְות ה' וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אתָם. וְלא תָתוּרוּ אַחֲרֵי לְבַבְכֶם וְאַחֲרֵי עֵינֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר אַתֶּם זנִים אַחֲרֵיהֶם: לְמַעַן תִּזְכְּרוּ וַעֲשִׂיתֶם אֶת כָּל מִצְותָי. וִהְיִיתֶם קְדשִׁים לֵאלהֵיכֶם: אֲנִי ה' אֱלהֵיכֶם אֲשֶׁר הוצֵאתִי אֶתְכֶם מֵאֶרֶץ מִצְרַיִם לִהְיות לָכֶם לֵאלהִים. אֲנִי ה' אֱלהֵיכֶם: אֱמֶת: וחוזר הש"ץ - ה' אֱלהֵיכֶם אֱמֶת:

And the L·rd spoke unto Moses, saying, speak unto the children of Israel & say to them to make for themselves a fringe on the borders of their garments, throughout their generations. And they shall place upon the fringe of the border, a thread of blue wool. And it shall be to you a fringe that you may look upon, & remember all the commandments of the L·rd & to do them. Then shall you not stray after your heart & your eyes whereafter you are wont to stray. So may you remember & do all My commandments & be holy for your G·d. I am the L·rd your G·d who brought you out of the land of Egypt to be your G·d; I am the L·rd your G·d.

הַשְׁכִּיבֵנוּ אָבִינוּ לְשָׁלום, וְהַעֲמִידֵנוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ לְחַיִּים טובִים וּלְשָׁלום, וּפְרושׂ עָלֵינוּ סֻכַּת שְׁלומֶךָ וְתַקְּנֵנוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ בְּעֵצָה טובָה מִלְּפָנֶיךָ, וְהושִׁיעֵנוּ מְהֵרָה לְמַעַן שְׁמֶךָ וְהָגֵן בַּעֲדֵנוּ. וְהָסֵר מֵעָלֵינוּ מַכַּת אויֵב. דֶּבֶר. חֶרֶב. חולִי. צָרָה. רָעָה. רָעָב. וְיָגון. וּמַשְׁחִית. וּמַגֵּפָה. שְׁבור וְהָסֵר הַשָּׂטָן מִלְּפָנֵינוּ וּמֵאַחֲרֵינוּ. וּבְצֵל כְּנָפֶיךָ תַּסְתִּירֵנוּ. וּשְׁמור צֵאתֵנוּ וּבואֵנוּ לְחַיִּים טובִים וּלְשָׁלום מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עולָם: כִּי אֵל שׁומְרֵנוּ וּמַצִּילֵנוּ אָתָּה מִכָּל דָּבָר רָע וּמִפַּחַד לַיְלָה. בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', שׁומֵר אֶת עַמּו יִשְׂרָאֵל לָעַד אָמֵן:

Lay us down, our Father, in peace, & raise us up, our King, for a good life & peace. And spread upon us the shelter of Your peace, & fix us, our King, with good advice before You. And deliver us speedily for the sake of Your name. And guard us, [upon saying "and spread upon us" stand and concentrate upon receiving the additional Neshama / soul] and spread upon us and upon Jerusalem your city your shelter of peace. Blessed is the One spreads the shelter of peace upon us and upon His entire people Israel and upon Jerusalem. Amen.

Main Prayer (Amidah)

בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', אֱלהֵינוּ וֵאלהֵי אֲבותֵינוּ, אֱלהֵי אַבְרָהָם. אֱלהֵי יִצְחָק וֵאלהֵי יַעֲקב. הָאֵל הַגָּדול הַגִּבּור וְהַנּורָא. אֵל עֶלְיון. גּומֵל חֲסָדִים טובִים. קונֵה הַכּל וְזוכֵר חַסְדֵי אָבות. וּמֵבִיא גּואֵל לִבְנֵי בְנֵיהֶם לְמַעַן שְׁמו בְּאַהֲבָה:

Blessed are You L·rd, our G·d, & G·d of our fathers, G·d of Avraham, G·d of Yitshak & G·d of Yaacov. The great, the mighty & the awesome G·d. Exalted G·d. Who bestows good kindness. He possesses everything & recalls the kindness of the patriarchs. And brings the redeemer to their children's children, for His Name's sake, with love.

בעשרת ימי תשובה מוסיפים: זָכְרֵנוּ לְחַיִּים. מֶלֶךְ חָפֵץ בַּחַיִּים. כָּתְבֵנוּ בְּסֵפֶר חַיִּים. לְמַעֲנָךְ אֱלהִים חַיִּים

On the 10 days of Tshuva (the days between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur) add: Remembered us for life. King whom desires life. Write us in the book of life. In your sake G-d.

מֶלֶךְ עוזֵר וּמושִׁיעַ וּמָגֵן: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', מָגֵן אַבְרָהָם:

King, helper, savior & a shield, blessed are You L·rd, Shield of Avraham.

אַתָּה גִּבּור לְעולָם אֲדנָי. מְחַיֶּה מֵתִים אַתָּה. רַב לְהושִׁיעַ:

You are mighty forever, my L·rd, You revive the dead - Greatly capable of saving.

בקיץ אומר - מורִיד הַטָּל: בחורף - מַשִּׁיב הָרוּחַ וּמורִיד הַגֶּשֶׁם:

When spring/summer, say: who causes dew to fall When autumn/winter, say: who causes the winds to blow & the rain to fall

מְכַלְכֵּל חַיִּים בְּחֶסֶד. מְחַיֶּה מֵתִים בְּרַחֲמִים רַבִּים. סומֵךְ נופְלִים וְרופֵא חולִים. וּמַתִּיר אֲסוּרִים. וּמְקַיֵּם אֱמוּנָתו לִישֵׁנֵי עָפָר. מִי כָמוךָ (יבטא היטב את העי"ן) בַּעַל גְּבוּרות וּמִי דומֶה לָךְ. מֶלֶךְ מֵמִית וּמְחַיֶּה וּמַצְמִיחַ יְשׁוּעָה:

You sustain the living with loving-kindness. You revive the dead with great compassion. You support the fallen & heal the ill. And You release those bound. And You fulfill Your faithfulness to those who sleep in the ground.

בעשרת ימי תשובה אומרים: מִי כָמוךָ אָב הָרַחְמָן זוכֵר יְצוּרָיו בְּרַחֲמִים לְחַיִּים:

On the 10 days of Tshuva (the days between Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur) add: Who is like You, Master of [all] powers, King, Who causes death & gives life & causes salvation to sprout.

וְנֶאֱמָן אַתָּה לְהַחֲיות מֵתִים: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , מְחַיֶּה הַמֵּתִים:

& You are trustworthy to revive the dead. Blessed are You L·rd, Who revives the dead.

בתפילת יחיד אין אומרים קטע זה: (נאמר על ידי שליח הציבור במניין) נַקְדִּישָׁךְ וְנַעֲרִיצָךְ. כְּנעַם שִׂיחַ סוד שַׂרְפֵי קדֶשׁ הַמְשַׁלְּשִׁים לְךָ קְדֻשָּׁה. וְכֵן כָּתוּב עַל יַד נְבִיאָךְ. וְקָרָא זֶה אֶל זֶה וְאָמַר. קָדושׁ קָדושׁ קָדושׁ ה' צְבָאות. מְלא כָל הָאָרֶץ כְּבודו: לְעֻמָּתָם מְשַׁבְּחִים וְאומְרִים - בָּרוּךְ כְּבוד ה' מִמְּקומו: וּבְדִבְרֵי קָדְשָׁךְ כָּתוּב לֵאמר - יִמְלךְ ה' לְעולָם אֱלהַיִךְ צִיּון לְדר וָדר הַלְלוּיָהּ:

In a single prayer this passage is not said: (Said by the prayer leader when praying with a crowd) We will sanctify you and adore you. As a secret discourse the shrines of holiness that make you holy. And so it is written by the prophet. And he called one to another, and said. Holy Holy Holy Lord of all Armies. Fill the whole land with his honor: On the other hand, they praise and say - Blessed be the glory of God from his place: And in the words of thy holiness it is written, saying, The Lord reigneth for ever, O G-d, unto Zion, unto the name of the L-rd and to the name of the L-rd:

אַתָּה קָדושׁ וְשִׁמְךָ קָדושׁ. וּקְדושִׁים בְּכָל יום יְהַלְלוּךָ סֶּלָה: בעשרת ימי תשובה אומרים - הַמֶּלֶךְ הַקָּדושׁ: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יהֵוָהֵ , הָאֵל הַקָּדושׁ:

You are Holy, & Your Name is holy, & Your holy ones will praise You every day, forever. Blessed are You L·rd the Holy G·d. (10 days of Tshuva – the Holy King)

אַתָּה חונֵן לְאָדָם דַּעַת. וּמְלַמֵּד לֶאֱנושׁ בִּינָה.

You graciously bestow knowledge to man, & teach mortals understanding,

במוצאי שבת ויום טוב אומרים אַתָּה חוֹנַנְתָּנוּ יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ מַדָּע וְהַשְׂכֵּל, אַתָּה אָמַרְתָּ לְהַבְדִּיל בֵּין קֹדֶשׁ לְחֹל וּבֵין אוֹר לְחֹשֶׁךְ וּבֵין יִשְׂרָאֵל לָעַמִּים, וּבֵין יוֹם הַשְּׁבִיעִי לְשֵׁשֶׁת יְמֵי הַמַּעֲשֶׂה. כְּשֵׁם שֶׁהִבְדַּלְתָּנוּ יְהֹוָה אֱלֹהֵינוּ מֵעַמֵּי הָאֲרָצוֹת וּמִמִּשְׁפְּחוֹת הָאֲדָמָה, כָּךְ פְּדֵנוּ וְהַצִּילֵנוּ מִשָּׂטָן רָע וּמִפֶּגַע רָע, וּמִכּל גְּזֵרוֹת קָשׁוֹת וְרָעוֹת הַמִּתְרַגְּשׁוֹת לָבֹא בָעוֹלָם.

On Saturday night (end of Shabbat) and End of Yom Tov they say: You gifted us, Lord our G-d, knowledge and understanding, you have said To distinguish between the holy and the profane, and between light and darkness, and between Israel and the nations, and between the seventh day and the six days of the act. As you have differentiated us, Lord our G-d, from the peoples of the lands and the families of the earth, Thus redeem us and save us from evil devil and from evil affliction, And from all the hard and evil decrees that are excited to come into the world.

וְחָנֵּנוּ מֵאִתְּךָ חָכְמָה בִּינָה וָדָעַת: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , חונֵן הַדָּעַת:

& graciously bestow upon us from Yourself wisdom, understanding & knowledge. Blessed are You L·rd, Who graciously bestows knowledge.

הֲשִׁיבֵנוּ אָבִינוּ לְתורָתֶךָ. וְקָרְבֵנוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ לַעֲבודָתֶךָ. וְהַחֲזִירֵנוּ בִּתְשׁוּבָה שְׁלֵמָה לְפָנֶיךָ: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , הָרוצֶה בִּתְשׁוּבָה:

Return us, our Father, to Your Torah & approach us, our King, to Your service, & bring us back to complete repentance before You. Blessed are You the L·rd Who desires repentance.

כאשר אומרים את המילים "חטאנו" ו"פשענו", נדפוק קלות על החזה כאשר כף היד בצורת אגרוף סְלַח לָנוּ אָבִינוּ כִּי חָטָאנוּ. מְחל לָנוּ מַלְכֵּנוּ כִּי פָשָׁעְנוּ. כִּי אֵל טוב וְסַלָּח אָתָּה: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , חַנּוּן הַמַּרְבֶּה לִסְלוחַ:

Pardon us, our Father, for we transgressed. Forgive us, our King for we sinned. For You are a good & forgiving G·d. Blessed are You L·rd, gracious One, Who abundantly pardons.

רְאֵה נָא בְעָנְיֵנוּ וְרִיבָה רִיבֵנוּ. וּמַהֵר לְגָאֳלֵנוּ גְּאֻלָּה שְׁלֵמָה לְמַעַן שְׁמֶךָ. כִּי אֵל גּואֵל חָזָק אָתָּה: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , גּואֵל יִשְׂרָאֵל:

Behold, please, our affliction & fight our battle, & speedily redeem us, [with] a complete redemption, for Your Name. For You G·d, are a mighty Redeemer, Blessed are You L·rd, Redeemer of Yisrael.

בתענית ציבור אומר כאן השליח ציבור: עֲנֵנוּ אָבִינוּ עֲנֵנוּ בְּיום צום הַתַּעֲנִית הַזֶּה כִּי בְצָרָה גְּדולָה אֲנָחְנוּ. אַל תֵּפֶן לְרִשְׁעֵנוּ וְאַל תִּתְעַלָּם מַלְכֵּנוּ מִבַּקָּשָׁתֵנוּ. הֱיֵה נָא קָרוב לְשַׁוְעָתֵנוּ. טֶרֶם נִקְרָא אֵלֶיךָ אַתָּה תַעֲנֶה. נְדַבֵּר וְאַתָּה תִשְׁמַע כַּדָּבָר שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וְהָיָה טֶרֶם יִקְרָאוּ וַאֲנִי אֶעֱנֶה. עוד הֵם מְדַבְּרִים וַאֲנִי אֶשְׁמָע. כִּי אַתָּה ה' פּודֶה וּמַצִּיל וְעונֶה וּמְרַחֵם בְּכָל עֵת צָרָה וְצוּקָה: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', הָעונֶה לְעַמּו יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּעֵת צָרָה:

On a public fast day, the prayer leader recites this: (do not say when praying solitarily) Answer us, Our Father, answer us on the day of this fast, for we are in great trouble. Do not turn to our wicked ones, and do not ignore, our King, at our request. Be close To our dismay. We have not yet called you, and you will answer. We will speak and you will hear as it is said: "and they were yet to call and I will answer. They are still talking and I will hear." For you are, the Lord who redeems and saves and answers and has mercy at all times of trouble and distress: Blessed are you, O Lord, who answers His people of Israel in times of trouble:

רְפָאֵנוּ ה' וְנֵרָפֵא. הושִׁיעֵנוּ וְנִוָּשֵׁעָה כִּי תְהִלָּתֵנוּ אָתָּה. וְהַעֲלֶה אֲרוּכָה וּמַרְפֵּא לְכָל תַּחֲלוּאֵינוּ. וּלְכָל מַכְאובֵינוּ וּלְכָל מַכּותֵינוּ. כִּי אֵל רופֵא רַחְמָן וְנֶאֱמָן אָתָּה: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , רופֵא חולֵי עַמּו יִשְׂרָאֵל:

Heal us, L·rd, & we will be healed. Save us & we will be saved, for You are our Praise. And bring a cure & healing for all of our ailments, & all our pains, & all our wounds for, G·d You are a compassionate & faithful healer. Blessed are You L·rd, Who heals the ill of His people, Yisrael.

בקיץ - בָּרְכֵנוּ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ בְּכָל מַעֲשֵי יָדֵינוּ. וּבָרֵךְ שְׁנָתֵנוּ בְּטַלְלֵי רָצון בְּרָכָה וּנְדָבָה. וּתְהִי אַחֲרִיתָהּ חַיִּים וְשָׂבָע וְשָׁלום כַּשָּׁנִים הַטּובות לִבְרָכָה. כִּי אֵל טוב וּמֵטִיב אַתָּה וּמְבָרֵךְ הַשָּׁנִים: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , מְבָרֵךְ הַשָּׁנִים:

In spring/summer time, say: Bless us, L·rd, our G·d, in all the works of our hands & bless our years with dews of favor, blessing & benevolence, & let its end be with life, & satiety & peace, like the best years of blessing, for You are a good & benevolent G·d & You bless the years. Blessed are You L·rd, Who blesses the years.

בחורף - בָּרֵךְ עָלֵינוּ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ אֶת הַשָּׁנָה הַזּאת. וְאֶת כָּל מִינֵי תְבוּאָתָהּ לְטובָה. וְתֵן טַל וּמָטָר לִבְרָכָה עַל כָּל פְּנֵי הָאֲדָמָה. וְרַוֵּה פְּנֵי תֵבֵל וְשַׂבַּע אֶת הָעולָם כֻּלּו מִטּוּבָךְ. וּמַלֵּא יָדֵינוּ מִבִּרְכותֶיךָ וּמֵעשֶׁר מַתְּנות יָדֶיךָ. שָׁמְרָה וְהַצִּילָה שָׁנָה זו מִכָּל דָּבָר רָע. וּמִכָּל מִינֵי מַשְׁחִית וּמִכָּל מִינֵי פּוּרְעָנוּת. וַעֲשֵׂה לָהּ תִּקְוָה טובָה וְאַחֲרִית שָׁלום. חוּס וְרַחֵם עָלֶיהָ וְעַל כָּל תְּבוּאָתָהּ וּפֵירותֶיהָ. וּבָרְכָהּ בְּגִשְׁמֵי רָצון בְּרָכָה וּנְדָבָה. וּתְהִי אַחֲרִיתָהּ חַיִּים וְשָׂבָע וְשָׁלום. כַּשָּׁנִים הַטּובות לִבְרָכָה. כִּי אֵל טוב וּמֵטִיב אַתָּה וּמְבָרֵךְ הַשָּׁנִים: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , מְבָרֵךְ הַשָּׁנִים:

In autumn/winter time, say: Bless for us, L·rd, our G·d, this year, & all types of its produce for good, & provide dew & rain for blessing on the entire face of the land & quench the face of the earth, & satiate the entire world with Your good, & fill our hands from Your blessings & the wealth of the gifts of Your hands. Protect & save this year from any bad thing, & any kind of destruction, & any kind of retribution, & make for it good hope, & an ending of peace. Have compassion & mercy upon it & upon all of its produce & fruits, & bless it with rains of goodwill, blessing & benevolence, & let its end be with life, & satiety & peace, like the good years of blessing, for You are a good & benevolent G·d & You bless the years. Blessed are You L·rd, Who blesses the years.

תְּקַע בְּשׁופָר גָּדול לְחֵרוּתֵנוּ. וְשָׂא נֵס לְקַבֵּץ גָּלֻיּותֵינוּ. וְקַבְּצֵנוּ יַחַד מֵאַרְבַּע כַּנְפות (יכוין שם קדוש חב"ו) הָאָרֶץ לְאַרְצֵנוּ: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , מְקַבֵּץ נִדְחֵי עַמּו יִשְׂרָאֵל:

Sound a great Shofar (rams horn for Mashiah'), for our freedom, & raise a flag to gather our exiles, & assemble us together quickly from the four corners of the earth to our land (of Israel). Blessed are You, that assembles the displaced of His people, Israel.

הָשִׁיבָה שׁופְטֵינוּ כְּבָרִאשׁונָה. וְיועֲצֵינוּ כְּבַתְּחִלָּה. וְהָסֵר מִמֶּנּוּ יָגון (סמאל) וַאֲנָחָה (לילית). וּמְלוךְ עָלֵינוּ מְהֵרָה אַתָּה ה' לְבַדְּךָ. בְּחֶסֶד וּבְרַחֲמִים בְּצֶדֶק וּבְמִשְׁפָּט: בעשרת ימי תשובה אומרים - הַמֶּלֶךְ הַמִּשְׁפָּט: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , מֶלֶךְ אוהֵב צְדָקָה וּמִשְׁפָּט:

Restore our Judges (of the Sanhedrin) as at first, & our advisers as in the beginning, & remove from us sorrow & groan, & rule upon us speedily, You alone L·rd, with lovingkindness & compassion, with righteousness & justice Blessed are You, L·rd, King Who loves righteousness & justice. [In 10 Days of Tshuva Say instead: The King, The Judge]

לַמִּינִים וְלַמַּלְשִׁינִים אַל תְּהִי תִקְוָה וְכָל הַזֵּדִים כְּרֶגַע יאבֵדוּ. וְכָל אויְבֶךָ (סמאל) וְכָל שׂונְאֶיךָ (לילית) מְהֵרָה יִכָּרֵתוּ. וּמַלְכוּת הָרִשְׁעָה מְהֵרָה תְעַקֵּר וּתְשַׁבֵּר וּתְכַלֵּם וְתַכְנִיעֵם בִּמְהֵרָה בְיָמֵינוּ: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה יָהָוָהָ , שׁובֵר אויְבִים וּמַכְנִיעַ זֵדִים:

For the informers & the heretics, let their be no hope. And all the wicked, let them perish in an instant, And all Your enemies & all Your haters, may they quickly be terminated, & as for a wicked government, may You uproot & smash & terminate & subdue them speedily in our days. Blessed are You, L·rd, Who smashes the enemies & subdues wicked. (the Heretics)

עַל הַצַּדִּיקִים וְעַל הַחֲסִידִים וְעַל שְׁאֵרִית עַמְּךָ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל. וְעַל זִקְנֵיהֶם. וְעַל פְּלֵיטַת בֵּית סופְרֵיהֶם. וְעַל גֵּרֵי הַצֶּדֶק וְעָלֵינוּ. יֶהֱמוּ נָא רַחֲמֶיךָ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ וְתֵן שָׂכָר טוב לְכָל הַבּוטְחִים בְּשִׁמְךָ בֶּאֱמֶת. וְשִׂים חֶלְקֵנוּ עִמָּהֶם. וּלְעולָם לא נֵבושׁ כִּי בְךָ בָּטָחְנוּ. וְעַל חַסְדְּךָ הַגָּדול בֶּאֱמֶת נִשְׁעָנְנוּ: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , מִשְׁעָן וּמִבְטָח לַצַּדִּיקִים:

Upon the righteous & the pious, & all the remnant of Your people, the House of Israel, & on their elders, & on the remnant of the academies of [Torah] sages, & upon the righteous converts & upon us, awaken, please, Your mercy L·rd, our G·d, & give us good reward, to all that have true faith in Your Name, & place our lot with them, & upon Your great mercy, we truly rely. Blessed are You, L·rd, a support & an assurance, for the righteous.

תִּשְׁכּון בְּתוךְ יְרוּשָׁלַיִם עִירְךָ כַּאֲשֶׁר דִּבַּרְתָּ. וְכִסֵּא דָוִד עַבְדְּךָ מְהֵרָה בְתוכָהּ תָּכִין וּבְנֵה אותָהּ בִּנְיַן עולָם בִּמְהֵרָה בְיָמֵינוּ: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , בּונֵה יְרוּשָׁלָיִם:

Dwell within Jerusalem Your city, as You spoke about, & the throne of David, Your servant, speedily prepare it within it, & build it an eternal structure speedily in our days. Blessed are You, L·rd, Who builds Jerusalem.

אֶת צֶמַח דָּוִד עַבְדְּךָ מְהֵרָה תַצְמִיחַ וְקַרְנו תָּרוּם בִּישׁוּעָתֶךָ. כִּי לִישׁוּעָתְךָ קִוִּינוּ וְצִפִּינוּ כָּל הַיּום: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , מַצְמִיחַ קֶרֶן יְשׁוּעָה:

The offspring of [the Kingship of] David, Your servant, may you speedily cause to blossom, & raise his horn (i.e., Power) with Your salvation, for Your salvation, for we hope for & look forward to all day. Blessed are You, L·rd, Who causes the horn of salvation to sprout.

שְׁמַע קולֵנוּ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ. אָב הָרַחֲמָן חוּס רַחֵם עָלֵינוּ. וְקַבֵּל בְּרַחֲמִים וּבְרָצון אֶת תְּפִלָּתֵנוּ. כִּי אֵל שׁומֵעַ תְּפִלּות וְתַחֲנוּנִים אָתָּה: וּמִלְּפָנֶיךָ מַלְכֵּנוּ רֵיקָם אַל תְּשִׁיבֵנוּ חָנֵּנוּ וַעֲנֵנוּ וּשְׁמַע תְּפִלָּתֵנוּ:

Hear our voice L·rd our G·d, merciful Father, have pity & mercy upon us, & accept with mercy & favor our prayers, for You are G·d, Who hears prayers & supplications. And from before You, our King, do not send us back empty [handed], grace us [with benevolence], & respond to us & hear our prayers,

בתענית ציבור יאמר היחיד "עננו", וכן הש"ץ ששכח לומר "עננו" בין גואל לרופא, יאמר כאן ביחיד בלי חתימה: עֲנֵנוּ אָבִינוּ עֲנֵנוּ בְּיום צום הַתַּעֲנִית הַזֶּה כִּי בְצָרָה גְּדולָה אֲנָחְנוּ. אַל תֵּפֶן לְרִשְׁעֵנוּ וְאַל תִּתְעַלָּם מַלְכֵּנוּ מִבַּקָּשָׁתֵנוּ. הֱיֵה נָא קָרוב לְשַׁוְעָתֵנוּ. טֶרֶם נִקְרָא אֵלֶיךָ אַתָּה תַעֲנֶה. נְדַבֵּר וְאַתָּה תִשְׁמַע כַּדָּבָר שֶׁנֶּאֱמַר וְהָיָה טֶרֶם יִקְרָאוּ וַאֲנִי אֶעֱנֶה. עוד הֵם מְדַבְּרִים וַאֲנִי אֶשְׁמָע. כִּי אַתָּה ה' פּודֶה וּמַצִּיל וְעונֶה וּמְרַחֵם בְּכָל עֵת צָרָה וְצוּקָה:

On a public fast day, a singular prayer adds: Answer us, Our Father, answer us on the day of this fast, for we are in great trouble. for You hear the prayer of each mouth. Blessed are You, our G·d, Who hears prayer.

רְצֵה ה' אֱלהֵינוּ בְּעַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל וְלִתְפִלָּתָם שְׁעֵה. וְהָשֵׁב הָעֲבודָה לִדְבִיר בֵּיתֶךָ. וְאִשֵּׁי יִשְׂרָאֵל וּתְפִלָּתָם מְהֵרָה בְּאַהֲבָה תְקַבֵּל בְּרָצון. וּתְהִי לְרָצון תָּמִיד עֲבודַת יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ:

Find favor, L·rd, our G·d, in Your people Israel, & to their prayers turn, & restore the [divine offering] service to the inner Sanctuary of Your house, & the fires [of the offerings] of Israel & their prayers speedily lovingly accept with favor, & let You continually have satisfaction from the service of Your people Israel.

בראש חודש ובחול המועד אומרים "יעלה ויבוא", ואם לא אמרו מחזירין אותו לתחילת התפילה, חוץ מערבית של ליל ראש חודש: אֱלהֵינוּ וֵאלהֵי אֲבותֵינוּ יַעֲלֶה וְיָבא וְיַגִּיעַ וְיֵרָאֶה וְיֵרָצֶה וְיִשָּׁמַע וְיִפָּקֵד וְיִזָּכֵר זִכְרונֵנוּ וְזִכְרון אֲבותֵינוּ. זִכְרון יְרוּשָׁלַיִם עִירָךְ. וְזִכְרון מָשִׁיחַ בֶּן דָּוִד עַבְדָּךְ. וְזִכְרון כָּל עַמְּךָ בֵּית יִשְׂרָאֵל לְפָנֶיךָ לִפְלֵיטָה לְטובָה. לְחֵן לְחֶסֶד וּלְרַחֲמִים. לְחַיִּים טובִים וּלְשָׁלום. בְּיום: בראש חודש - ראשׁ חדֶשׁ הַזֶּה: בחול המועד פסח - חַג הַמַּצּות הַזֶּה. בְּיום מִקְרָא קדֶשׁ הַזֶּה: בחול המועד סוכות - חַג הַסֻּכּות הַזֶּה. בְּיום מִקְרָא קדֶשׁ הַזֶּה: לְרַחֵם בּו עָלֵינוּ וּלְהושִׁיעֵנוּ. זָכְרֵנוּ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ בּו לְטובָה. וּפָקְדֵנוּ בו לִבְרָכָה. וְהושִׁיעֵנוּ בו לְחַיִּים טובִים. בִּדְבַר יְשׁוּעָה וְרַחֲמִים. חוּס וְחָנֵּנוּ וַחֲמול וְרַחֵם עָלֵינוּ. וְהושִׁיעֵנוּ כִּי אֵלֶיךָ עֵינֵינוּ. כִּי אֵל מֶלֶךְ חַנּוּן וְרַחוּם אָתָּה:

On Rosh Hodesh, Intermed. days Passover & Sukot say: Our G·d, & G·d of Our forefathers, may it rise, & come, arrive, appear, find favor, & be heard, & be considered, & be remembered & our remembrance, & the remembrance of our Patriarchs, & the remembrance of Jerusalem, Your city, & the remembrance of the Messiah, the son of David, Your servant, & the remembrance of your entire People, the house of Israel before You – for deliverance, for good, for grace, for kindness, & mercy, for a good life, on this day of On Rosh chodesh: the head of the month. On Intermediary days of Passover: the Holiday of Matzot, on this day of Holy Convocation. On Intermediary days of Sukkot: Holiday of Sukkot. On this day of Holy Convocation. to have mercy on it (this day) upon us & to save us. Remember L·rd, our G·d, on it for good, & consider us on it with blessing, & deliver us on it for good life, With a pronouncement of deliverance & mercy. Take pity & be gracious to us, & have mercy & be compassionate with us & save us for upon You are our eyes turned, For You are G·d, King, gracious & compassionate.

וְאַתָּה בְרַחֲמֶיךָ הָרַבִּים. תַּחְפּץ בָּנוּ וְתִרְצֵנוּ וְתֶחֱזֶינָה עֵינֵינוּ בְּשׁוּבְךָ לְצִיּון בְּרַחֲמִים: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , הַמַּחֲזִיר שְׁכִינָתו לְצִיּון:

And You, with Your great compassion, desire us & let us be dear, & may our eyes see Your return to Zion with compassion. Bless You, L·rd, Who returns His Divine Presence to Zion.

כאשר אומרים את המילים "מודים אנחנו לך" כורעים קדימה עם פלג הגוף העליון ומתיישרים מודִים אֲנַחְנוּ לָךְ שֶׁאַתָּה הוּא ה' אֱלהֵינוּ וֵאלהֵי אֲבותֵינוּ לְעולָם וָעֶד. צוּרֵנוּ צוּר חַיֵּינוּ וּמָגֵן יִשְׁעֵנוּ אַתָּה הוּא. לְדר וָדר נודֶה לְךָ וּנְסַפֵּר תְּהִלָּתֶךָ. עַל חַיֵּינוּ הַמְּסוּרִים בְּיָדֶךָ. וְעַל נִשְׁמותֵינוּ הַפְּקוּדות לָךְ. וְעַל נִסֶּיךָ שֶׁבְּכָל יום עִמָּנוּ וְעַל נִפְלְאותֶיךָ וְטובותֶיךָ שֶׁבְּכָל עֵת. עֶרֶב וָבקֶר וְצָהֳרָיִם. הַטּוב כִּי לא כָלוּ רַחֲמֶיךָ. הַמְרַחֵם כִּי לא תַמּוּ חֲסָדֶיךָ כִּי מֵעולָם קִוִּינוּ לָךְ:

Upon Saying "Modim"/"We are Grateful" One Bows We are grateful to You, that You are He Who is the L·rd, our G·d, & G·d of our fathers forever, & our Rock, the Rock of our lives & You are He Who is a Shield of salvation. For each & every generation, we will thank You & will relate Your praise, upon our lives that are placed in Your Hands, & upon our souls, that are entrusted in Your hands (when we sleep), & upon Your miracles that all day are with us, & all Your wonders & goodness at all times, at night, & morning & afternoon. The Good [One], for Your mercy never ends, The Merciful [One are You], for Your loving-kindness never ceases, forever we have hope in You.

While praying with a crowd, the prayer leader recites the blessing of "Modim", while the crowd recites this following Modim, named "Modim Derabanan" - Modim that has been versed by the smart:(do not say when praying solitarily) We thank you that you are the L·rd, our G·d and the G·d of our fathers, G·d of all flesh. Our creator, the creator of the beginning. Blessings and thanks to Your great and holy name, for resurrecting and establishing us. Such, revive us and have mercy on us. And gather our exiles to the courts of your sanctuary. To preserve Your laws and do your will. And to your serve You wholeheartedly. For we thank you. Blessed is the L·rd of thanks:

בחנוכה ופורים אומרים על הניסים: אם שכח, יכול לאומרו בסיום "אלוהי נצור" וכה יאמר: מודים אנחנו לך על הניסים ועל הפורקן וכו'. אם שכח לגמרי, אינו חוזר לראש התפילה. וְעַל הַנִּסִּים וְעַל הַפֻּרְקָן. וְעַל הַגְּבוּרות. וְעַל הַתְּשׁוּעות וְעַל הַנִּפְלָאות וְעַל הַנֶּחָמות שֶׁעָשִׂיתָ לַאֲבותֵינוּ בַּיָּמִים הָהֵם בַּזְּמַן הַזֶּה:

There will To forget your law and to pass on the laws of Israel. Thou with much mercy thou set before them in their time of trouble. You fought their fights. You have judged there laws. You avenged their vengeance. You handed over heroes to the weak. And handed many in the hands of the few. And the wicked in the hands of the righteous. And the impure in the hands of the pure. And the wicked in the hands of those who practice your law. You have made a great and holy name for yourself in your world. And unto thy people Israel, thou hast made great salvation, and discharge unto this day. And afterward your sons came to your house. And evacuated your temple (from impurity). And cleansed the sanctuary. And lit candles in the courts of your sanctuary. And set these eight days of Chanukkah in praise and thanks. On Purim: In the days of Mordechai and Esther in the capital Shushan. When the wicked Haman stood over them. Asked to destroy and kill and lose all the Jews from youth to old age, including children and women, in one day. On the thirteenth of the month of Adar. And pay them contempt. And thou, in thy many mercies, You violated his advice and ruined his thoughts. And You restored him with repayment in his head. And they hanged him and his sons on the tree. And thou performed with them a miracle and a wonder, and we pay thanks to thy great name:

וְעַל כֻּלָּם יִתְבָּרַךְ וְיִתְרומָם וְיִתְנַשֵּׂא תָּמִיד שִׁמְךָ מַלְכֵּנוּ לְעולָם וָעֶד. וְכָל הַחַיִּים יודוּךָ סֶּלָה: בעשרת ימי תשובה מוסיפים: וּכְתוב לְחַיִּים טובִים כָּל בְּנֵי בְרִיתֶךָ: וִיהַלְלוּ וִיבָרְכוּ אֶת שִׁמְךָ הַגָּדול בֶּאֱמֶת לְעולָם כִּי טוב. הָאֵל יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ וְעֶזְרָתֵנוּ סֶלָה הָאֵל הַטּוב: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה', הַטּוב שִׁמְךָ וּלְךָ נָאֶה לְהודות:

Upon all of these, You are Blessed, You are Exalted & Uplifted (in our mouths) always, Your Name, our King, forever & ever & all the living will praise You evermore. [In 10 Days of Tshuva add: And write to good life all of Your allies]. And they will praise, & they will bless Your Great Name truely, constantly, for It is good, the G·d of our Salvation & our Assistance, the Good G·d. Blessed are You L·rd, the Good, Your Name & You are befitting to give thanks.

שִׂים שָׁלום טובָה וּבְרָכָה חַיִּים חֵן וָחֶסֶד צְדָקָה וְרַחֲמִים עָלֵינוּ וְעַל כָּל יִשְׂרָאֵל עַמֶּךָ וּבָרְכֵנוּ אָבִינוּ כֻּלָּנוּ כְּאֶחָד בְּאור פָּנֶיךָ כִּי בְאור פָּנֶיךָ נָתַתָּ לָנוּ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ תּורָה וְחַיִּים. אַהֲבָה וָחֶסֶד. צְדָקָה וְרַחֲמִים. בְּרָכָה וְשָׁלום. וְטוב בְּעֵינֶיךָ לְבָרְכֵנוּ וּלְבָרֵךְ אֶת כָּל עַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל בְּרוב עז וְשָׁלום:

Establish peace, good, & blessing, life, grace & kindness, & compassion upon us & upon all Israel, Your Nation, & bless us our Father all of us together with the light of Your countenance, For with the light of Your countenance, You gave us, L·rd, our G·d, Torah & Life, Love & Kindness, Righteousness & Compassion, Blessing & Peace, & it is Good in Your eyes to bless us, & to bless all Your people Israel, with great force & peace.

בעשרת ימי תשובה מוסיפים: וּבְסֵפֶר חַיִּים בְּרָכָה וְשָׁלום וּפַרְנָסָה טובָה וִישׁוּעָה וְנֶחָמָה וּגְזֵרות טובות. נִזָּכֵר וְנִכָּתֵב לְפָנֶיךָ אֲנַחְנוּ וְכָל עַמְּךָ יִשְׂרָאֵל לְחַיִּים טובִים וּלְשָׁלום: בָּרוּךְ אַתָּה ה' , הַמְבָרֵךְ אֶת עַמּו יִשְׂרָאֵל בַּשָּׁלום אָמֵן:

May they find favor, the words of my mouth & the thoughts of my heart, before You, L·rd, my Rock & my Redeemer. My G·d! Guard my tongue from Bad, & my lips from [speaking] deceit. And those that curse me, let my soul be silent. And let my soul be like the dust to all. Open my heart to Your Torah, & after Your Mitzvot (commandments) let my soul pursue, & all that rise against me for bad, quickly nullify their counsel & ruin their thoughts. Do [it] for the sake of Your Name, do [it] for the sake of Your right (mercy), do [it] for the sake of Your Torah, do [it] for the sake of Your Holiness. For the sake of refraining Your beloved (Israel, from sufferance), Your right (mercy) Deliver [us], & answer us. May they find favor, the words of my mouth & the thoughts of my heart, before You, L·rd, my Rock & my Redeemer.

He Who makes peace from the heights, may He with His compassion, make peace upon us & all His people Israel, & [Let us] say, Amen. May it be Your will before You, L·rd, Our G-d and G-d of our fathers – that You build the Holy Temple speedily in our days. And give us our share in Your Torah – to do the laws of Your will and to serve You with a perfect heart. The main prayer finished

יְהִי שֵׁם ה' מְברָךְ. מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עולָם: מִמִּזְרַח שֶׁמֶשׁ עַד מְבואו. מְהֻלָּל שֵׁם ה': רָם עַל כָּל גּויִם ה'. עַל הַשָּׁמַיִם כְּבודו: ה' אֲדונֵנוּ. מָה אַדִּיר שִׁמְךָ בְּכָל הָאָרֶץ:

May the Name of the L·rd be Blessed from Now and evermore. From the East of the Sun until its rising – praised is the Name of the L·rd. Exalted above all nations – is the L·rd – upon the heavens which he Honors. L·rd – our Master – How mighty is Your name throughout the land.

Additions for Motzei Shabbat (end of Shabbat) Behold I prepare myself to accept the light of the addition on the holiness of Shabbat to the weekdays. And I will sancify, with the help of G·d, May He be Blessed, on the days of the week with the holiness of Shabbat – like the L·rd, Our G·d commanded us, in His holy Torah. “And you shall sanctify yourself and you will be holy.” And may it be your will before you, L·rd, our G·d, and G·d of out fathers – that it shall rise before you as if I concentrated on all proper intentions with this.

Return, L·rd, until when? And have console Your servant. Gratify us in the morning with your kindness and we will sing and rejoice in all our days. Let us rejoice like the days of our suffering – the years bad. Show Your servant Your deeds, and return it upon their children. And may the Grace of the L·rd, our G·d be upon us and the work of our hands- guide for us and our handiwork guide it.

He who sits in the shelter of the Supreme One, in the Shadow of the L·rd will he dwell. I say to the L·rd "You are my refuge & my fortress my L·rd, I will trust in Him" For He will save you from the ensnared trap from destructive pestilence. With his pinion will he cover you, & under His wings you will be protected. Shield & Armor are His truth. You shall not fear from terror of night, [nor] from the arrow that flies by day. From pestilence that stalks in the dark, from a destroyer that ravages at noon. A thousand will encamp at your [left] side & ten-thousand by your right & to you they will not come near. Only with your eyes you shall peer, & the retribution of the wicked you shall see. Because [you said] "You, L·rd are my refuge" you made the Supreme G·d your abode. No evil shall befall you & a plague will not arrive to your tent. For His angels He will command for you, to protect you in all your ways. On palms they will carry you, lest you stub your foot on a stone. Upon a lion & a serpent you shall tread, you will trample a young lion & a snake. Because he desired My Name - I will protect him & I will lift him - for he knows My Name. He will call Me & I will answer him - I am with him in distress & I will release him & Honor him I will satiate him with longevity of days & I will demonstrate to him My salvation.

וְאַתָּה קָדושׁ יושֵׁב תְּהִלּות יִשְׂרָאֵל: וְקָרָא זֶה אֶל זֶה וְאָמַר קָדושׁ קָדושׁ קָדושׁ ה' צְבָאות. מְלא כָל הָאָרֶץ כְּבודו: וּמְקַבְּלִין דֵּין מִן דֵּין וְאָמְרִין. קַדִּישׁ בִּשְׁמֵי מְרומָא עִלָּאָה בֵּית שְׁכִינְתֵּהּ. קַדִּישׁ עַל אַרְעָא עובַד גְּבוּרְתֵּהּ. קַדִּישׁ לְעָלַם וּלְעָלְמֵי עָלְמַיָּא: ה' צְבָאות מַלְיָא כָל אַרְעָא זִיו יְקָרֵהּ: וַתִּשָּׂאֵנִי רוּחַ וָאֶשְׁמַע אַחֲרַי קול רַעַשׁ גָּדול. בָּרוּךְ כְּבוד ה' מִמְּקומו: וּנְטָלַתְנִי רוּחָא. וּשְׁמָעִית בַּתְרַי קַל זִיעַ שַׂגִּיא דִמְשַׁבְּחִין וְאָמְרִין בְּרִיךְ יְקָרָא דה' מֵאֲתַר בֵּית שְׁכִינְתֵּהּ: ה' יִמְלךְ לְעלָם וָעֶד: ה' מַלְכוּתֵהּ קָאִים לְעָלַם וּלְעָלְמֵי עָלְמַיָּא:

And You are Holy, throned upon the praises of Israel. And One [angel] calls to the Other and says: Holy, Holy, Holy is the L·rd of Legions, He fills the entire world with His Glory. (silently) And each one [angel] accepts [permission] from another and says: He is Holy in the High Exalted heavens, the abode of His Divine presence, Sanctified on the Earth, His Greatness is worshiped; Sanctified forever and ever L·rd of Legions - The entire earth is filled with His precious illumination. (Aloud) And a wind carried me my and I heard behind me the sound of great noise - blessed is the Honor of the L·rd from His place. (Quietly) And a wind lifted me and I heard behind me the sound of a powerful movement of those that praise , saying Blessed is the preciousness of the L·rd from the His place – the house of His Divine Presence. (Aloud) The L·rd will reign forever and ever. (Quietly) The L·rd, His Kingship is established forever and ever.

ה' אֱלהֵי אַבְרָהָם יִצְחָק וְיִשְׂרָאֵל אֲבותֵינוּ שָׁמְרָה זאת לְעולָם לְיֵצֶר מַחְשְׁבות לְבַב עַמֶּךָ. וְהָכֵן לְבָבָם אֵלֶיךָ: וְהוּא רַחוּם יְכַפֵּר עָון וְלא יַשְׁחִית וְהִרְבָּה לְהָשִׁיב אַפּו. וְלא יָעִיר כָּל חֲמָתו: כִּי אַתָּה אֲדנָי טוב וְסַלָּח. וְרַב חֶסֶד לְכָל קרְאֶיךָ: צִדְקָתְךָ צֶדֶק לְעולָם. וְתורָתְךָ אֱמֶת: תִּתֵּן אֱמֶת לְיַעֲקב חֶסֶד לְאַבְרָהָם. אֲשֶׁר נִשְׁבַּעְתָּ לַאֲבתֵינוּ מִימֵי קֶדֶם: בָּרוּךְ אֲדנָי יום יום יַעֲמָס לָנוּ הָאֵל יְשׁוּעָתֵנוּ סֶלָה: ה' צְבָאות עִמָּנוּ. מִשְׂגַּב לָנוּ אֱלהֵי יַעֲקב סֶלָה: ה' צְבָאות. אַשְׁרֵי אָדָם בּטֵחַ בָּךְ: ה' הושִׁיעָה. הַמֶּלֶךְ יַעֲנֵנוּ בְיום קָרְאֵנוּ:

(Aloud) L·rd, G·d of Avraham, Yitzhak and Yisrael – our forefathers, may You preserve this forever, as the realization of the thoughts of the hearts of Your people and direct their hearts towards you. And He is merciful, and He will atone for transgression, He will not destroy, and he frequently removes His anger and He will not ignite His entire wrath. For You my L·rd are Good and Forgiving, and abundant in kindness to all that call You. Your righteousness is righteousness forever, and Your Torah / Law is truth. Give truth to Yaakov, kindness to Avraham that You swore to our fathers in the days of yore. Blessed is the L·rd - every day He is a stronghold for us, the G·d of our Salvation forever. L·rd of Hosts, happy is the person who trusts in you. L·rd Save! The King that answers us on the day we call.

בָּרוּךְ אֱלהֵינוּ שֶׁבְּרָאָנוּ לִכְבודו וְהִבְדִּילָנוּ מִן הַתּועִים וְנָתַן לָנוּ תּורַת אֱמֶת וְחַיֵּי עולָם נָטַע בְּתוכֵנוּ. הוּא יִפְתַּח לִבֵּנוּ בְּתורָתו. וְיָשִׂים בְּלִבֵּנוּ אַהֲבָתו וְיִרְאָתו לַעֲשׂות רְצונו וּלְעָבְדו בְּלֵבָב שָׁלֵם. לא נִיגַע לָרִיק וְלא נֵלֵד לַבֶּהָלָה. יְהִי רָצון מִלְּפָנֶיךָ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ וֵאלהֵי אֲבותֵינוּ שֶׁנִּשְׁמר חֻקֶּיךָ וּמִצְותֶיךָ בָּעולָם הַזֶּה. וְנִזְכֶּה וְנִחְיֶה וְנִירַשׁ טובָה וּבְרָכָה לְחַיֵּי הָעולָם הַבָּא: לְמַעַן יְזַמֶּרְךָ כָבוד וְלא יִדּם. ה' אֱלהַי לְעולָם אודֶךָּ: ה' חָפֵץ לְמַעַן צִדְקו. יַגְדִּיל תּורָה וְיַאְדִּיר: וְיִבְטְחוּ בְךָ יודְעֵי שְׁמֶךָ. כִּי לא עָזַבְתָּ דורְשֶׁיךָ ה': ה' אֲדנֵינוּ. מָה אַדִּיר שִׁמְךָ בְּכָל הָאָרֶץ: חִזְקוּ וְיַאֲמֵץ לְבַבְכֶם כָּל הַמְיַחֲלִים לה':

Blessed is our L·rd that created us in his honor, and separated us from those who are wayward, and gave us the Torah of Truth, and life of the world He planted among us. May He open our hearts to His Torah & place in our hearts His Love and Awe to do His will and to serve Him with a complete heart. Let us not toil in vain, let us not be born for pursuit of vanities. May it be a will Before You, L·rd our G·d that Your laws be observed [by me] in this world and I will merit and live and inherit good and blessing to life of the World to Come. In order that I shall sing of Your Honor and I will not be silent. (pause) L·rd, My G·d, forever I will thank You. The L·rd wanted, due to His righteousness, that the Torah be increased and strengthened. And They will Have Faith in You, those that know Your name, for You did not abandon, those that seek You, L·rd. L·rd, our Master, How mighty is Your name throughout the World. Strengthen and Fortify your hearts all those that put their trust in the L·rd.

שִׁיר לַמַּעֲלות. אֶשָּׂא עֵינַי אֶל הֶהָרִים. מֵאַיִן יָבא עֶזְרִי: עֶזְרִי מֵעִם ה'. עשֵׂה שָׁמַיִם וָאָרֶץ: אַל יִתֵּן לַמּוט רַגְלֶךָ. אַל יָנוּם שׁמְרֶךָ: הִנֵּה לא יָנוּם וְלא יִישָׁן. שׁומֵר יִשְׂרָאֵל: ה' שׁמְרֶךָ. ה' צִלְּךָ עַל יַד יְמִינֶךָ: יומָם הַשֶּׁמֶשׁ לא יַכֶּכָּה וְיָרֵחַ בַּלָּיְלָה: ה' יִשְׁמָרְךָ מִכָּל רָע. יִשְׁמר אֶת נַפְשֶׁךָ: ה' יִשְׁמָר צֵאתְךָ וּבואֶךָ. מֵעַתָּה וְעַד עולָם:

A Song of Ascents - I raise my eyes [upward] towards the mountains – [to find] from where will my assistance arrive? My Assistance is from the L·rd - Maker of Heaven & Earth. He will not let your foot falter. Your Guardian will not slumber. Behold He does not slumber nor sleep - the Guardian of Israel. The L·rd is your Guardian; He is your Shadow at your right side. By day, the sun will not harm you nor the moon by night. The L·rd will protect you from all evil - He will guard your soul. The L·rd will guard your departure & arrival from now & forever more.

עַל כֵּן נְקַוֶּה לָךְ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ לִרְאות מְהֵרָה בְּתִפְאֶרֶת עֻזָּךְ לְהַעֲבִיר גִּלּוּלִים מִן הָאָרֶץ וְהָאֱלִילִים כָּרות יִכָּרֵתוּן. לְתַקֵּן עולָם בְּמַלְכוּת שַׁדַּי. וְכָל בְּנֵי בָשָׂר יִקְרְאוּ בִשְׁמֶךָ לְהַפְנות אֵלֶיךָ כָּל רִשְׁעֵי אָרֶץ. יַכִּירוּ וְיֵדְעוּ כָּל יושְׁבֵי תֵבֵל. כִּי לְךָ תִכְרַע כָּל בֶּרֶךְ תִּשָּׁבַע כָּל לָשׁון. לְפָנֶיךָ ה' אֱלהֵינוּ יִכְרְעוּ וְיִפּלוּ וְלִכְבוד שִׁמְךָ יְקָר יִתֵּנוּ. וִיקַבְּלוּ כֻלָּם אֶת עול מַלְכוּתֶךָ. וְתִמְלוךְ עֲלֵיהֶם מְהֵרָה לְעולָם וָעֶד. כִּי הַמַּלְכוּת שֶׁלְּךָ הִיא. וּלְעולְמֵי עַד תִּמְלוךְ בְּכָבוד. כַּכָּתוּב בְּתורָתָךְ. ה' יִמְלךְ לְעלָם וָעֶד: וְנֶאֱמַר וְהָיָה ה' לְמֶלֶךְ עַל כָּל הָאָרֶץ. בַּיּום הַהוּא יִהְיֶה ה' אֶחָד וּשְׁמו אֶחָד:

Therefor, we will hope to You L·rd, our G·d to see speedily the glory of Your Might - to remove abominable idolatry from the earth & the false gods be utterly terminated, to repair the world with the Kingship of the Al·mighty. And all living flesh will call in Your Name to turn back to You all the wicked of the earth. They will recognize & will know, all the inhabitants of the earth, that to You that every knee shall bow down, & every tongue. Before you they will kneel & bow down & give honor to Your glorious name & they will all accept the yolk of Your Kingship. And Reign upon them speedily forever & ever. For the Kingship, it is Yours. And forevermore reign in glory. Like it is written in your Torah, “The L·rd will reign forever & ever.” And it is said “and it will be the L·rd will Be King upon all of the earth. On that day the L·rd will be One (ie, only He will be worshiped) & His name One.” And in Your Torah, L·rd, Our G·d, it is written saying “Hear Oh Israel, the L·rd is our G·d the L·rd is One.”
